Individual therapy is regular time with one counselor who gets to know your situation. Most people come in because something has stopped working — sleep, mood, a relationship, the ability to get through an ordinary week — and talking it over with friends and family has not moved it.
You do not need a diagnosis, and you do not need to have it figured out before you call. Anxiety, depression, grief, anger, stress that will not let up, a change you did not choose: all of it is worth an appointment.
What to expect
A short screening form or phone call to start. No referral required.
A callback from a real person, usually within one business day.
A first appointment that is mostly listening — your history, and what you want to be different.
Regular sessions, usually weekly at first, at a time that fits your schedule.
Check-ins about what is working, so the plan changes when you do.
